Advertising and targeting cookies

Melbarr uses advertising networks cookies to deliver user-relevant adverts. We can limit the number of exposures and monitor the effectiveness of an ad campaign by tracking user’s clicks.

Retargeting’ is a particular type of advertising, based on target’s specific interests. It allows our advertising partners to ensure you only see adverts that have a high probability of relevance to you. Screening is based on your online browsing activity.  This enables vendors to advertise to people who have already visited their website. Retargeting cookies are usually placed on your device by third-party advertisers. We provide a link list of such parties we work with.  If you want to opt-out of receiving such ads, follow the listed links, and look for opt-out information.

  1. Opting out from receiving targeted advertising does not mean your exposure to advertising will be reduced, but the ads will be less customized to your interests.

You have the option to  opt-out of receiving personalized ads from third party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising. All you have to do is visit the opt-out pages on the NAI website and DAA website and follow opt-out instructions.
